It’s an interesting time here in SA. We’re heading toward local government elections (eish) and most importantly, year-end!!!

I’m more excited about one than the other (can you guess?!), but I’m keenly aware of the significance of local elections. So many people are denied basic freedoms and services because nobody cares. Honestly, when will politicians and elections actually be about people and the services they need, (not even talking about those they deserve) as opposed to being about serving the interests of some dispassionate people who prey on the vulnerabilities of citizens, and joined politics for employment?
