Who said ‘remember, remember, the 3rd of December?’

Nobody, but today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It falls 2 days after World AIDS Day, and is within the 16 days of Activism against women and child abuse, etc.

This, of course, is amidst a real-time raging and mutating pandemic- one where 1 literally sneezes and the rest of the world catches a very bad Omicron… I now fully understand these words said to me by an elderly lady some years back: “life is too short to go on a diet…”
